About

The SIOM library is open to students and faculty any time that the school is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and is closed over spring break. Alumni can access the library whenever the school is open, 5 days a week and until 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The library is available for use by current students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

The collection includes texts on Chinese medicine in English and Chinese, as well as small but relevant biomedical and alternative health sections. Our growing print collection numbers about 3000 texts. The library also has extensive TCM journal holdings in English and Chinese, as well as lectures on CDs and various educational DVDs. Case studies from current and former students are also archived in the library for research use. SIOM students can also use the library at Bastyr University, as well as at the University of Washington. There is a nominal fee for circulation privileges at those libraries, but use of the library and their databases are free to SIOM students and faculty.
