Before you apply, we encourage you to visit the school, take a tour, sit in on classes, and get a treatment in the teaching clinic in order to become more familiar with our programs. Also please read the admissions information provided on this site as well as in our catalog (link in left menu bar). Completed SIOM application: You may begin the application below, which will take you out of this website into the SIOM School Management System website. The application is the same for entry into the M.Ac, M.Ac.O.M., and D.A.H.M. programs.
SIOM Program Rolling Admissions
SIOM is currently accepting applications for Fall 2017 admission into the SIOM programs. Applicants with plans to complete remaining prerequisites prior to fall entry will be considered on a contingency basis. Applicants will be notified of their admissions status within 2 weeks after their interview. Applicants who are accepted will have 2 weeks to make a decision and send in their enrollment agreement and a nonrefundable $500 deposit to reserve a their place in the entering class. This deposit will be applied to the first trimester's tuition.
Interview spots are available as space allows. To be considered for a particular date you must have a complete application turned in at least two weeks before the interview date. Applying early is recommended. Please check here for upcoming interview dates.
Decisions regarding acceptance are made within two weeks after the interview. Applicants are accepted until the class is full. Candidates for admission must demonstrate maturity, academic ability and sincerity to enter the field of Oriental medicine.
